Just like how it's described in the 'Introduction' post, this S2000 is obviously a part of my manga, 'Traced!'.

In the manga this car is told to have carbon fibre convertible hard top which requiring modification of the trunk lid to open from the opposite side. Note that the carbon fiber convertible hard top also helps increasing the car's aerodynamic, that's why it's always activated whenever the race is about to begin.

This car is also told to have both best handling and acceleration among other cars.

The owner is an Interpol officer, Lieutenant Arthuria, who goes by the codename 'Saber'. She is assigned to hunt down an international drug syndicate which is led by a long-hunted prisoner. She uses this S2000 to participate in the Race War, in order to capture the syndicate's main ace, Gilgamesh.

In the story this car is first shown up when the main male protagonist, Shirou. was in a pinch and about to be knocked off by an antagonist, codenamed 'Lancer'. Saber saved Shirou at the very last moment by blocking Lancer's way with this car, which causing a fatal understeer to Lancer and damaging his suspension system. After that incident, the owner, Saber, asked Shirou to be her race crew in the Race War and thus this car got re-tuned, especially it's performance. Shirou added new suspension kit which give this car better handling and allow this car to make extreme maneuvers. He also installed a turbo kit on this S2000 to give this car better acceleration. Not to mention that he is also the one who had the idea to install carbon fiber convertible hard top.

Yeap, Stick up with my habit, matching people with cars. Now this is a picture of Mai Tokiha standing next to her car, an orange RX-8. Can't think of any other suitable cars for her. And, yeap, not to forget mentioning that I've tried some cars but none of them can suit Mai as RX-8 does.

The idea of modifying this car popped out after I watched an anime. In that anime, I found that one of it's episodes has the same title as this car's name, Kizuna, which I've mentioned before that 'Kizuna' means 'Bonds'.

The anime itself is a sequel of the previous series. And honestly, after watching the first series, I thought of giving the main heroine a car. Yeap, that's my habit, matching people with cars... =P
